K. R. Peterson is an educator, social worker, and the author of The Orphan's Code series and the Bloodthirst duology. After receiving their autism diagnosis in their midtwenties, Peterson became an advocate for improved autism education. Today Peterson is also the parent of an autistic child and a support for other parents of autistic children. They live in Germany.
