Dov Fedler is one of South Africa’s most beloved and pre-eminent political cartoonists. In 2016 he retired after a career of 50 years drawing for The Star, the country’s leading daily newspaper. He is also a sculptor, artist and author of his memoir Out of Line (2015). These days he spends his time writing, re-watching his favorite old movies and plotting ways to pass the pen to the next generation.
