Very early on, at the age of 14, Pyrate made a decision. His salvation would come from the sea. He would navigate anything that floats from a sailboard to a cargo ship. This was more than a promise to himself; it was a pact.

For thirty years, Pyrate traveled across the sea in all possible conditions: peaceful, agitated, monstrous, inhuman. He wore all appropriate attire: sailor’s uniform, skipper’s jacket, fisherman’s oilskins, the loincloth of a pirate in the Gulf of Aden with the accompanying Kalashnikov.

Pyrate is a modern-day pirate.

He has led a life of adventures from the Brittany coast to the Indian Ocean. A life that resonates as the accomplishment of a destiny. In this one many alone, the traces of all of the mythical maritime figures can be found: Nemo, Ulysses, Avery, Kurtz, Gilliat, Black Dog.
