This is not a memoir.

This is not Christian Page’s life story. He does not write about his life leading up to the day he had nowhere to live. (He does that in 2 pages.) This is not an introspective reflection on how he could have done things differently.

No, Christian Page is homeless and in this book, he tells it like it is. In short chapters, Christian shows us how the homeless live and survive. He writes about the necessity to stay clean, to have allies, to keep your dignity.

His is not a story specific to Paris or France; his is a human interest story. Christian Page has been homeless for four years and so has many anecdotes to share, at times with humor and irony. But most of all, with raw insight.
