On the island of Matria, a small piece of land in the middle of the Ocean, a big rock transformed into paradise, where women and some men live in peace, a storm is coming. Will the inhabitants avoid the tragedy that threatens the peace of their island?
Matria, a utopian island, was saved and protected over a century ago by a group of women. Women make up the majority of the inhabitants still on the island. Charlotte, a young technician arrives in this idyllic little world. Her interactions with Marianne —part-shaman, part visionary —will completely transform her life.
But it’s the return of Fabrizio, Marianne’s twin brother, from exile that will rip open old wounds and disrupt the function of the island as much as Charlotte’s feelings.
Will she manage to pacify both brother and sister?
