Santa Claus is dead! Long live Mrs. Clause…

Fauve usually loves Christmas – and especially the many Advent calendars she devours for the occasion. But this year her favorite time of year is anything but magical. For starters, she was forced to accept the only job she could find: Santa’s elf in a shopping mall. So far, nothing insurmountable. Except that – surprise! – by the greatest of coincidences, the new Santa Claus turns out to be none other than Jeremy, her ex.

The Jeremy who cowardly dumped her two years ago to go on tour in the United States and who broke her heart in the process. So, when she sees the little smirk that this bastard of a Santa-Christmas-Jeremy gives her, she suddenly really wants to beat him up with a giant candy cane in front of a line of soon-to-be traumatized children…

Déborah Guérand travels as much in her novels as in real life, thanks to her job as a flight attendant. As an eternal romantic, she always has a weakness for her heroes in books.
