This is the story of the life of a woman for whom reading, writing, even driving, have become great obstacles. Even communicating with her Japanese husband becomes a challenge because English is their common language, a language that is slipping from her grasp. Anne-Claude may have troubling visions but she clearly sees herself little by little being excluded from society because of a disease that researchers struggle to catch up with.
