Dr Simonetta Brey, a forensic scientist lands in Menorca. Commissioner Darío Ferrer, a former colleague, arranged for her early release from prison so that she could help him solve a series of murders. Retired doctors are being killed while visiting Menorca on vacation.

To fulfill the assignment, Simonetta settles on the island as a general practitioner, hiding the real reason she is there. As her investigation progresses, Simonetta discovers the beauty of the island, becomes friends with a group of unique characters, and starts a romantic relationship with an attractive businessman.

The closer she gets to discovering the truth creates a danger she has never been faced with before.

Rosa Blasco was born in Alcañiz (Teruel, Spain) in 1964. She has a PhD in Medicine from the University of Zaragoza and currently lives and works as a general practitioner in Tudela (Navarra), where she combines her medical vocation with her passion for literature.

She is also the author of El sanatorio de la Provenza (The Provence Sanatorium), and La sangre equivocada (Wrong blood).
