La théorie des poignées de main

Antoine is a graduate student researching the theory commonly called « Six Degrees of Separation ». You know, the one that says that each person could be connected to one another through a chain of five people, creating six links.

When confronted about the theory’s scientific legitimacy, Antoine gets caught up in an unlikely bet. He is provided with merely a person’s name, birth date and location of birth, and has three months to find that person as well as the five people that will connect them.

When Antoine is given the name of a man born in Vietnam, in the 1970s, in an orphanage, his chances of winning the bet do not look good.

What starts as a journey around the world to prove a mathematical theory transforms into an extraordinary human adventure that Antoine never could have expected.
