As an executive in the biggest bank of the French tax authority in the Parisian area, Mélissa Bartoli splits her life between her time consuming job and raising her five-year-old daughter, Angela. Since their separation, her husband Matthieu has been trying to win her back but Mélissa no longer trusts him, even if she once considered him to be the love of her life.

Mélissa’s life turns into a nightmare when a group of three criminals show up at her front door. They give her an impossible ultimatum: either she steals all the money from the safe at work tomorrow or they’ll kill her daughter.

Mélissa has no choice but to steal the money but nothing happens according to plan. Not only is she confronted with the people who are threatening her daughter but now she is being chased by the police. As she overcomes each obstacle thrown in her path, Mélissa transforms into a strong woman ready to do anything to save her daughter, and herself. Anything.
