While each book is an adaptation of a Jane Austen novel featuring the well-known protagonists, all of Jane Austen’s heroines are present in each book as they attend to the same school. So, Emma is a secondary character in the adaptation of Pride and Prejudice and Elizabeth Bennett is a secondary character in the adaptation of Emma.
