Brocéliande, 1942. After the massacre of his village by the Nazis, Jos, at the age of 12, convinces four of his friends to stay and live there, far from adults.

Fleeing a world that they consider too cruel and without morality, the orphans take refuge in an imagination populated by Grails, friendship and battles, those of the Knights of the Round Table. They become Arthur, Keu, Gauvain, Perceval and Galahad and launch into the armed struggle against the Black Knights, becoming in spite of themselves the greatest Resistance fighters in Brittany.

But how do you fight without becoming as violent as your ennemies? How to grow up without becoming the adults we refuse to be? How to maintain this part of magic while at war and prevent darkness from triumphing?

Yann Le Gal saw his childhood lulled by the Breton tales that told him about one of his grandfathers and the stories of the Resistance that the second told him. Quite naturally, he wanted, in turn, to tell stories and it was television that allowed him to express himself. From TF1 to Arte via France Télévision and Netflix, he has signed numerous successful projects. Les Enfants perdus de Brocéliande is his first novel.
